Vance Russell founded 3point to bridge the gap between conservation data and effective communication to key audiences. 3point is the nexus between nature and people, quantitative and qualitative, tech and wildlife. He has nearly 40 years of experience working in forest science and biodiversity conservation. Vance is the former Board Chair of Groundswell International, is a trustee for the South Downs National Park Trust, and serves on the Rewilding Leadership Council for the Rewilding Institute. Vance received his M.S. degree in Forest Science and Natural Resources Management from Cornell University and a B.A. in Biology from the College of Wooster.
Emma Underwood, PhD, has over 25 years of experience applying geospatial tools and remote sensing techniques to address biodiversity and conservation issues and inform environmental decisions. She is currently focused on quantifying benefits in chaparral ecosystems and examining fire ecology in Mediterranean ecosystems. She has a Ph.D. in remote sensing and ecology from University of California, Davis, M.A. Geography from Ohio University, and B.Sc. in Geography from Swansea University.
